Scarlett Johansson recently revisited some beloved films from the '90s while in quarantine, including her own work. The 36 year old, a two-time Academy Award nominee, shares a recent snow day experience, where she watched the 1997 film Home Alone 3 with her 6 year old daughter Rose Dorothy. "We definitely went back to those nostalgic '90s films," she mentions.

They chose the third movie after Rose became fond of the first two holiday films featuring Macaulay Culkin. However, Johansson didn’t reveal their personal link to the film she had one of her early roles in the sequel when she was 11 years old.

"I wanted her to find out on her own," she laughs. "Of course, she didn't because how could an 11-year-old me remind her of who I am today? When I asked, 'Who's that person?!' she responded, 'You?'" Johansson has been relishing quality time with family during the quarantine alongside Rose and her husband Colin Jost, 38, whom she married quietly in October.

She has also started a new venture by investing in Jason Karp's company HumanCo and taking on the role of creative director for their brand Snow Days, which offers a healthier version of frozen pizza bites. “It made sense, especially since I have a 6-year-old daughter,” the actress comments.

"I'm aware of the need for convenience and nutrition," she adds. "Wouldn't it be wonderful to just reach into the freezer knowing you have a trusted, tasty brand that doesn’t make you feel bad?"

On the topic of getting her daughter to eat healthily, the Black Widow star says it's not been a significant challenge. "It's amusing, but I've never really had to trick her into healthy eating," she informs. Johansson recalls her mother using the "one bite rule," which she also employs with Rose. "I believe it's better for kids to explore food without it being a chore," she explains.

"I've never forced my child to eat anything she dislikes, nor have I tried to conceal any foods from her to sneak in more vegetables," Johansson states. "I'm simply saying, 'If you don't like carrots, you don't have to eat them.' The Marriage Story actress co-parents Rose with her ex-husband Romain Dauriac, 39, whom she was married to from 2014 to 2017.
