The Independent quotes a source close to the matter as saying, “I wouldn’t say Meghan was jealous, but she was genuinely surprised by how lavish Harry’s brother was compared to their circumstances.” The book suggests that this could have been the beginning of tensions between the two couples. Harry also mentioned a row with William in 2018, which was reportedly caused by William calling Meghan “rude” and “difficult.”
